<OT>

Outlook Express I believe gets its spell-checking and other functionality from integration with Office 98. I can't verify this because I have Office 98. However, I seem to remember reading about this somewhere.

Assuming the market allows, we should see better movement of AAPL, now that there are reassuring iMac reports for Nov. I think the trial and the rumors of weak iMac sales were enough to stall acquisition of the stock, and prompted some to take profits.

I am still looking for an iMac price drop to $999 soon. Usually, AAPL and other computer makers drop prices quarterly. Nov 15 will be exactly one quarter from product launch. A late November cut will help move more iMacs as people realize that $29.99/mo for 67 months is too long. $999 would put it closer to 4-5 years, which is the typical purchase cycle for consumers anyway.

I did and could not find the selection for spell check. Any other suggestions

Try this (extracted from OE help file). Not sure what to do if Office 98 not installed. East

To check spelling in a message

With Office 98 installed, you can easily spell check your messages
before you send them. As you type, Outlook Express will check your
dictionary and underline words that cannot be found. You can correct
mispelled words by pressing the Control key and clicking the mouse
button on the mispelled word, and then choosing an option from the menu
that appears.

1.On the Tools menu, choose Spelling. In the Not In Dictionary window,
Outlook Express will display each word that is not in the current
dictionary. In the Suggestions window, Outlook Express will display
words that might be the correct one to use.
2.Do one of the following:
* Click Ignore to skip the displayed word and go forward to the next word.
* Click Ignore All to skip all occurances of the word.
* Click Add to add the word to the current dictionary.
* Click a word in the Suggestions window, and click Change to replace this
instance of the word, or click Change All to replace all occurances of
the word in the message with the suggestion.
* Click Close to stop the spell check.

Tip
* Click Options in the Spelling dialog box to open the Preferences dialog
box where you can set advanced spelling options.
