Paul: Regarding employee stock options plan,I wonder wether you ever contacted DELL & asked them for an explanation? I would have,but then I didn't want to sound ignorant.<g>

Anway since you don't seem to approve of it,what are the other financially sound and legitimate options the company has.Is paying the executives or employees what they are worth in cash a sound policy? For example...

Michael Dell should be at least worth $50-100 mil a year.
Tom Meridith and the other senior executives should at least get $10-20 mil/year

....and so on and so forth.

Will this be better than paying part of their salaries in options?

Any brief thoughts on it?
