>>Sony Responds to IOM's 250mb disk...
by: Chinho45

In an effort to remain on the cutting edge of technology Sony Corporation today unveiled a strategy in response to Iomega's newly announced 250mb disk. Sony, who recently announced a new 200mb disk, will be shipping 50- 1.44mb floppy disks with each 200mb disk they sell in retail outlets. This will bring the total amount of storage space with Sony's product to 272mb (200+[1.44*50]). Sony executives were upset in the way Iomega trumped them in such short fashion and responded quickly to avoid releasing an obsolete product in light of this weeks large COMDEX convention in Las Vegas. In an interview an unnamed Sony executive was quoted as saying, "those assholes at Iomega!". End of story.....<<
