Myron,

You can download datacon from their website. or from your V3 install. The problem reamins that you have convert v4 to v3 and then v3 to metastock format to be able to look at charts. WOW on the other hand can directly read V3 format which would then only require 1 data conversion. Omnitrader and at least one other package currently supports TC2000 V4 data directly. Check the TC2000 thread. Catlady can tell you...

Hi Myron,
I use TC 2000 V4 and WOW Pro together. TC is great for organizing your stocks. You can create you own scans and watch lists and then export them for WOW to read. V4 has an option to export in V3 format, which WOW can read directly. It is really simple and fast.
You can then use WOW to go more "in depth" on stocks you are looking at. Next step........Advanced GET.

Don't cancel MSWIN get TC2000 to help or change data providers.

I think everyone using MetaStock and has TC2000 software V3 or V4 should call them. Ask if or when they will provide a cleaner and faster way to import data into MetaStock or I might have to consider a new data providers.

There are people saying use Quotes Plus SW, which probably means it imports data better. Having people tell TC2000 service this kind of information will get some action. They are mainly making there money from being a data provider. If someone is doing it better and cheaper it means losing business.

I haven't purchase MSWIN yet, but from everything I read and seen so far it a great next step.

So be pleasant call TC2000 and ask for a better way . Remember if they are unwilling to meet our needs there are other choice out there, so companies are more willing to meet those demands. Maybe TC2000 just needs a call from us saying we need a better and faster way of get data to MSWIN. The Majority and the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Have a great day!!
