I agree with your points as listed except...

#1and #2) You made an argument earlier that file sizes would be significantly smaller (134KB) rather than larger. Dozens of 1.5 MB images would fit nicely on a 64 MB CF card.

#6) The CFA associtation agreed to INCREASE the form factor of CF to accomodate CF II, primarily for telecommunications applications. The microdrive is considerably larger than CF and requires a CF II slot. And, you do not need an adapter to use a CF card.

Did you listen to the last CC that Dr. Harari gave? He addressed nearly all of your concerns point for point.

You failed to mention the price point for entry. You will be able to buy CF cards that fit daily consumer needs for $1/MB, but will pay close to $200 for a new microdrive. And your microdrive won't fit into your Palmtop/PDA, Nokia phone, color printer or mp3 player.
