OK, CMon.

Let's say there are lots of known liabilities plus some hidden ones. I would imagine that AHCA's offer for $2 would have included some basic financial understanding of the situation. I don't know how they came up with the $2 offer but surely they have at least the same knowledge that you do plus a whole lot more from their own industry contacts.

Mazur's immediate rejection seems to indicate he's in no hurry to sell the company at $2.

Nations bank has an interest in what happens, also. I would imagine that they would like to see a buyout much more than a bankruptcy. If they think a management change would solve the problem then they'd probably be willing to finance a buyout or merger themselves.

Or, the whole thing is a hoax. If so, I don't think the SEC will be amused.
