What is this magic "timing" he has to determine? Why isn't NOW as good as any other time? What is the objective in delaying? Whose "interest" is he allegedly looking out for? This thing is unfathomable.

I'm not sure I see your analogy. Alan Greenspan does not make policy. He is simply a regulator. He regulates the money supply. This is a policy change that was authorized by their Parliment. What right does he have to stand in the way?

The Singapore government authorities are probably waiting for CREAF to test its lows. That way they can load up and announce the buyback, making a few million in easy hard currency. The rest of the world is not like America. The idea of "fair play" in matters of money is not the same. Power and influence matter more...

It's fine to invest in foreign stocks, but you've got to take the good with the bad.
