Just spent an hour on the "failure" "scamazon" site -- and spent about $600 on books,
videos, games and toys for Christmas gifts. I found the new categories well filled-out.
Very easy to navigate with many helpful ways to find items in various categories.

I'd sooner go lay down on the freeway than short this stock.

dclapp,

I do not know what to tell you. I don't suggest laying down on the freeway. You may not enjoy Christmas as well.

I was just giving the thread my opinion. It seems like the appropriate place to do that.

There appears to be a lot of cockiness (sp) on this thread about the rise in the stock price of Amazon. Maybe we can revisit this next summer after the fundamentals kick in. I never come across with an I know it all attitude. I am just stating there is one thing I know. There is very little possibility of long term success based on fundamentals.

Glenn

Wow, $600. Between you and TomD I've got an Idea. I'm going to start a usedcommodity.com.
After you've read all your books send them to me. I'll pay you for them. then sell them on my Web-site.
Regards
ps, Please don't spill any champagne on your books. it makes it hard for the new purchaser to turn the pages.

AMZN just lost about $100 today strictly because of you, dclapp. I hope you are happy with yourself. You will have to live with this for the rest of your life.

Each to his or her own. Personally, I'm looking forward to doing some "real" shopping over the Thanksgiving Day weekend. If I had already done my Christmas shopping on the internet, I know I would feel disappointed if I saw something I wanted to buy in a real store, but had already bought all the gifts I planned on giving already.

Oh -- I hope you and yours enjoy your gifts. Not much fun packing them up and having to ship them back to scamazon. -gggggg-
