<A question....how is a midline point established. By this I mean, I can find the middle of the two points, but why is this previous high or low chosen over a different one? Or can it be both highs and lows. What is the theory behind all of that? .....> I will take a shot but GZ might be the one to ask. I would say you chose the recent high or low based on the bigger trend????, and for that matter either one could be correct.?? That didn't solve....GZ, your dance floor on this one.
