Ron,

I lost a good sum on one of those speculative natural resources issues I got into a couple of years or so ago. However, had I put the same money into Dayton, a dependable producer IMO, I would have lost just as much. The industry has been absolutely hammered by the $100 an oz drop in the price of gold and by a similar % drop in copper. Smart people would have bailed from everything the day gold fell below $350 and copper below a buck.

That said we're at a bottom here and I've accummulated a bunch of mining shares at multi year lows. Also picking up more junk silver under $5 an oz. I'm betting the tables are ready to turn about now. --Al

Well Ron, despite my prudence...you can bet I got hit more than one time. Still, in bull markets, this market sector will allow you to make tremendous amount of money. Unfortunetely, we are in a bear moving into a bull...this pain may last another year who knows..

I don't have a web page but continue to publish my newsletter. Will think about building one when this bull starts to move.
