Buy a few thousand options..???
I still muse about "what if" re the August 55 puts for Ciena, on the last day of option trading in August..they were selling for 50 cents apiece, until the AT&T announcement was made. The stock cratered to below $30, and the options rocketed to $22-$25. I think this is where LTCM drawn and quartered, along with many, many arbitragers, who had sold puts on the expectation of a $60+ price upon expiration.

Since August, a big volume of calls has usually blunted the rise in the price of stock..in fact, a huge volume of 35 calls sold at asking preceded the drop from the 30s to below 20.

I like the "pooling" idea. I think this may come to pass as E-trading matures (along w/ the internet)
