Abraham was a member of the human race and he was given a promise by God that was before the Jews and was for the entire human race. The children of the promise are those that have the faith of Abraham, not those that descended from his flesh. Those that had the faith of Abraham by believing in Jesus. I am a descendant of Abraham. There is much more to this mystery but it's doubtful this much will be understood. Jesus was already there at Abraham's time. The nation Israel came after and was a vehicle for educating the people about there fallen state and there need for forgiveness. And through them educate the whole world. Bob you are an ignorant bible believer which is fine. If you prefer to stay ignorant thats also fine. It is not fine to proselyte your beliefs and call others liars when you are the one lying in ignorance. Trying to debate truth with only bible scriptures with the bible as only reference is fine with me. I know its content better than you and can run you around in circles trying to find logical answers that are not there. If you care to challenge I have just accepted that challenge. If you want to call me a liar do so in a post to me instead of hiding in another post. You make me want to puke with your crap. Since you believe the bible is God's word please send me all your money. I am asking you and pleading and your good book says if any man wants your coat give him what he ask and the cloak too. Since the bible says a Christian will hate his mother father brothers etc. have you complied with this. Your new covenant says for you not to tell your brother who is God and yet you come into this thread telling all of your God and not to believe otherwise. You say there is no contradiction. Care for me to post a list of them here to prove your ignorance. I can cut and paste them real quick so do not mind at all. If you cant meet the above challenge go back to your ask God forum and leave these people alone. They are here for discussion not rules of dogma.
