Sounds like you sold your CC's about the same time I did (when the price hit 32 1/4). I been kicking myself for not waiting a few more days. I have learned something from Herm though, I did at least go out an extra month (sold DEC 30's). I've been in the habit of selling the current month and then worrying right up until expiry. It must have been a mindset thing. I could have sold 2 years out and still covered when CPQ finally breaks off the upper BB and tags the lower BB a few days later. It can't sit with an RSI over 70 for long, the historical data says that.

I still think the MM's won't let CPQ's close out the NOV expiry any more than 1 slot up from the Max-Pain point which is still 27 1/2. So a 30 close is still not out of the question especially if they (MM's) use the MSFT ruling a means of driving down the prices of the sector.
