To any that are interested.... Yesterday, my fund did suffer substantial losses in the "THING" and we are quite pissed off. I look no farther than the mirror to assign blame, yet I continue to have a nagging problem with our beloved financial media. I cc'd copies of my post here to CNBC, the NYT and the SEC. I firmly believe that the producers at CNBC are market morons and are often influenced by several momentum oriented players. I did receive a very interesting response from a senior editor at the NYT who asked "Can you provide me with other examples of such slanted reporting and its concurrent effect on certain stocks." They appear to be interested in potentially writing a piece on the CNBC effect and the management's lack of journalistic integrity. In a discussion, the senior editor there thought that the CNBC-WSJ alliance was less than kosher at times and they agreed that the WSJ reporters are a bunch of media-hungry yahoos who like listening to, and seeing themselves on TV. Could be interesting....I will be traveling (Father's 75th birthday/ Parents 40th anniversary celebrations) and out of touch for a few days. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Bottom line here is that we witnessed a major-league, well-orchestrated short-squeeze that attempts to publically base itself on news-releases and fundamentals and analyst bulls..t. It may well continue, or fail....I wish I knew. I will, however do my best to reveal this garbage for what it is.....I do think Bezos has a hand in this crap and I do believe he will be shown to have no clothes before it is over. Good Luck to all but the swine.. For all you momentum bulls...... This is your glory spotlight...this game of musical chairs will not go on forever.
