Still working with the ADX as well?

Throwing around so many indicators is tough business. I found myself yesterday going back to the method I used last summer and, had I traded it, it would have done very well. I wished to buy the pullback before the announcement and reverse it at 56.

I had already established a positional trade from 36, however, and wanted to see how it worked out.

With Globex now at 40.90 I can honestly say that at this point I would be far more profitable had I stuck to just day-trading; not to mention the times I missed out on trades or got crushed on trades in the past because I was trying to think both ways instead of just day trading.

While away this weekend I will be trying to learn a more sophisticated day trade method, scrapping all the positional methods. The only one I will continue is the Neural Net.

Speaking of which, I shall be working on that all day once again and shan't be around. I'd like to have it to the point where I can fiddle with actual models on the plane.

Besides, as long as the existing trade is "positional" I would not be day trading anyway.
