That is an interesting tidbit from their conference call. Did they say, however, if these machines were for immediate use at *0.25 µm, or just that these machines had the capacity to be used at this size - i.e., they will be used for a year or so at 0.35 µm, and then the manufacturer hopes to transition down to 0.25 µm?

K.D. Much delayed, thanks for the 73% of sales for .25 micron and below news...anything that drives the industry down faster is great for the maskers. Will be interested to see if LSI gets that Gresham plant going now...I understand they are targeting .25 and .18 for that plant, and DPMI is co-located, with pre-installed capabilities to make the move to .13 when/if that transpires.. I'm just south of Gresham at the moment (in Oregon City)...maybe I'll give them a call.
BTW..sorry for the delay in response...have been traveling, chasing horses, and socializing...
