hi Gil. i completely agree with you on the fast execution is better than fast confirmation. for all I care, they could confirm with in 1/2 hour, as long as I know I can get my order submitted in a timely manner.

As far as your prediction, they are already #3 as far as publicly traded online brokers. But the catcher is that there are only 3 such publicly traded companies out there right now.

Saw on CNBC last night that Schwab is #1, E-trade #2, and AMTD #3 with 300K accounts. They did rate AMTD a buy with the other two a hold simply because of subscriber growth. But with a caution notation that most of the AMTD traders only making an average of three trades per month. So that may have a profound effect on the revenues as active traders migrate to brokerages with more effeciant ways of taking care of their customers.

Regardless of how it all pans out, I believe that all three of them are poised to take advantage of this new era of e-brokers, and will prove to be profitable in the near future.
