As a shareholder, I support this move by PSFT. My early concern was that PSFT was not taking advantage of its huge cash reserve. The cash just sits in the bank, earning a low interest. Now, PSFT decides to make better use of this equity and invest in R/D. Over the long run, I believe PSFT's ROE will improve substantially.

We can argue how to use this cash better (acquisitions or internal R/D). The fact that PSFT is going to use it is good for us shareholders.
