I just and yipping and a yapping with myself here....

....one of my new short term positional trading methods just went sell side. However, yesterday it just went buy side above 50. Take that for what it is worth.....

....although this system made money over the last two months I am very very skeptical. The last two months were somewhat aberrational in my way of thinking.

EDIT - I have a couple of short term forks middle tines converging in the 44-46 area. This area might provide a bit of trouble to the up-side....

SE, Tom, GZ and All

Not to belabor this point on collecting correct numbers on GZ's A/D 25d summation,
but I thought this information might be of interest.

NYSExchange's official site posts these figures on a daily basis.
nyse.com
However these figures are atleast one day old....one must look carefully
at the relative Date presented. Up right now is Monday Nov 16th.

I have checked 5 sources of this data: Prophet, Yahoo, WSJ, Boston Globe and the NYSE
None of these agree.......in some cases the information can be 20-30-60 +++ marks off
the NYSE presented figures. I emailed some of the data providers and have one reply.

Apparently the time at which the data was captured is the difference....an on going problem
with all data providers. In the rush to provide instant data for down loaders many
mistakes are made throughout these collectors.

As GZ said....a few here and there do not make for a problem, but all of the feeds were
substantially off from the NYSE numbers. This will throw out false signals if the count
around -0- is narrow....and a lot to ask from time smoothing.

Anyway for Monday 16th Nov:
NYSE --- A=1401......D=1185
WSJ --- A=1649......D=1389
Yahoo--- A=1480......D=1490
Prophet- A=1620......D=1408
BGlobe - A=1649......D=1389(owned by the NYTimes)

God....I hope all data is not this *Screwed-up*
I will use the data from NYSE....Hoping it is correct....but this will
lag the daily count by 2-3 days
