Paul,>>>His unit forecasts are debatable but I think his ASP's were ASSIGNED to back up his already proven ERRONEOUS ASSUMPTION that Intel's ASPs have been declining.....As Intel has stated, their ASPs have been constant for about 5 quarters.<<<

What if Kurlak is correct?

That means that INTC is selling at 30X 1999 earnings as opposed to 24X for the entire S&P. In which case IMHO INTC PE is still too low.

Suppose Intel is correct and ASP will remain flat.

Using Kurlak's unit esitmates Intel will earn 4.15 per share as opposed to Kurlak's estimate of $3.60. That would give Intel a 24 PE same as the average for the S&P.

If Kurlak is wrong both on the Unit level and on the ASP level - and Asia recovers - What happens then????

My point is, I guess, the numbers look pretty good. But as they in say in baseball, they don't play this game on paper - you can't just email in the numbers - you have to go out and execute.

But, I do like the way my investment is going ...on paper.

Regards,

Mary

Paul,

<Kurlak is just winging it at this point, trying to prove to himself that he is not a complete idiot.>

This should keep him busy for a good long time.
