DJ, I agree we need to hear some official judgment as to gem quality. Even though ACA/AEC/PUG JV insider Donald Sheldon already publicly reported that to this point Ashton has been seeing 70-75% gem quality diamonds from these holes, it would be nice to hear some formal stats in an NR.
-Re. Ashton AB diamonds' GQ, see: Message 4038243

I think we need to look for reasonable cpht levels (above 30 to excite the market, although I think half that could still be profitable for K14!) in this next report, along with Ashton's further plans for K-14. A large bulk sampling will take most of the doubt out that this may one day be a producing mine. I realize we need wait for that before it can be proclaimed, but this is an extraordinarily expensive undertaking and would not be done without ACA/AEC high confidence.
K-14 is near surface... see this link for new, valuable info re. Alberta diamond-mining feasibility calculations, etc: Message 6469097

Further to the GQ of diamonds pulled so far in AB by Ashton, if as FrankF. and others have hinted towards the diamonds are predominantly eclogitic, that would explain their gem-higher quality percentages. I've read that eclogitic crystals (over peridotitic) are generally larger, and of higher quality.

Lastly, considering the tonnage and prime depth for open-castability of this giant K-14 deposit, the overall value here could be astronomical. But I know, I'm pre-mature!

Just my thoughts. I see ACA showing continuing, subtle strength today.
