<<Any moment, an announcemnt from Syquest will be released indicating who their buyer is. If it is Iomega, IOM could plunge as the realization of mountains of debt hits their bottom line. If the buyer is someone with deep pockets, like Yamaha or Samsung, then IOM will be hit as well.>>

there you go again, being wise. amazing. but, rocky, can't they buy the intellectual property without buying the debt? you're so intelligent, that your tremendous insight would be helpful. if Samsung/Yamaha buys the intellectual property, oh boy! you are right! look out! Syquest couldn't get it to work, but Samsung certainly can! Samsung, like you, is so much smarter than Syquest and can make just about anything work! (except for their posted losses this year, they would have been a real positive mover). hey, you're onto something. if Samsung had REALLY been thinking they could have bought Syqest LAST YEAR before IOM sold so many drives and disks! then they could have REALLY beat IOM! wonder why they didn't? your insight is ALWAYS helpful and appreciated. you're the wonder kid!

Hopefully Jock will forgive me for this, but:

Rocky -- you have no idea what you are talking about. If SYQT declares Chapter 11 the outstanding debt, stock and warrants will likely be extinguished. Read the announcement from SYQT, lumphead, they are selling the assets of the company. A buyer from a bankrupt company buys the ASSETS not the debt. Most asset sales from a bankrupt company are pennies on the dollar. Unlikely that any buyer will be assuming mountains of debt to acquire SYQT assets. I know you are a engineer and have no knowledge of the law - but get real - most people know this. If you don't you may want to contemplate law school instead of wasting your time on these boards.

Geez,

Kevin Linder

Is this guy for real?........any nitwit with jello for brains who read the news release can see that the "buyer" whoever it may be, is buying SyRock's Assets......the company is filing for Chapter 11............are you really this stupid......or is it an act....?

Oh and by the way, RockWorst, how much doooooo you get paid to poster here. Since you have been silent on the question of "whether" you get paid here any reasonable person would now assume that you do.

So, all................ in my mind, at least, its settled The Rocksta is a paid "internet Hyperster" (can mean long or short hype)......man let me tell you a story about the Sec that someone raccounted to me recently.........The SEC Criminal Investigators, whom I believe work for the Secret Service or FBI, basically told this person that if the SEC awakens and smells you for what you are (by "you" I am not specifically refering to you, Mr. Reid) your life will swiftly become a nightmare .....according to SEC Investigator......(paraphrasing here)...."we have unlimited money if we want you we will eventually get you....its a no win situaution"...........

In other words dear Rocksta......Don't worry,....I haven't the time to report you to the SEC. But I don't really need to anyway do I......lets see INTERNET HYPE(pos. or neg.)= INTERNET STOCK BOARDS="HOT" INTERNET STOCK BOARDS=Io-Friggin'mea(...IOM that is :)...= MOST DEFINATELY THIS BOARD AND THE AOL AND MOTLEY FOOL BOARDS........

So you see board.......these type of tactics are being aqggressively pursed by the SEC....they already know who the HYPSTERS are.

SERIOUSLY:

Mr. Reid or whatever your non Cyber name is, I actually do feel sorry for you........while nothing at all may ever happen ....an investigation of you by the SEC or fear of one will be a life shattering event.....I would hope you take a look at yourself and decide to quit.......stock manipulators go to jail.

Frank
