According to Josef:
In any case, I hear that MBCK appears to be an altered version of Survive 2000, and I'm told that entities other than PINC have the unrestricted marketing rights for Survive 2000 version 1.3, and no one at this stage has the rights for version 2.1. #reply-6418706

You might also inquire as to whether PINC has rights to source code, which would allow them to modify the program to their heart's content and better differentiate it from versions of Survive-2000 sold by other entities, not to mention be able to enhance it to compete with the name brand Y2K utility products.
