Vic,

Although I am not using automation with Neuro, I believe it is possible. As far as I know, it has to be done through the Windows System Agent or Task Scheduler. To automate downloading, I believe you will have to have a program for automatic connect and disconnect from the internet. Automatic e-mailing of the report can probably also be accomplished if you would schedule the event and mail the report as an attachment. Since I'm not currently using automation, perhaps someone else who has used it can verify this.

I do use the batch function at times. This enables you to train multiple nets, one at a time, throughout the night and have a report ready in the morning.

I also use Neuro's batch feature daily for training and predicting and downloading. Although I think the process can be automated I haven't figured it out yet. I can't even figure out what the System Agent is. If someone else knows how to automate I also would be interested in knowing how.

Vic,

I had a post on this a while back on my thread: Message 5044909.

I have NeuroStock set up to run though a batch of stocks each night. Then it sends the batch.log file to me via e-mail. Once I get to work I review the message in combination with my technical analysis from the previous night. Then I either jump in or stay on the sidelines.

There are a number of automation utilities which will help you set up NS to run *completely* unattended. It does take a bit of time though. I think I spent about two hours setting up the automation scripts. But in the long run it saves lots of time.
