You raise a lot of good points - I'll offer my opinion on some of them.

You say Vaporware?

My definition of vapourware is a product that is promised but doesn't exist - so I don't know if you're just pulling our legs here. The product is definitely real - you can order it directly from the company or download it from their website or from several On-Line stores.

If this "crypto" was so strong, doesn't ANYONE here think that the news media
would have picked this up...I mean 128 bit vs. 4096 bit? Doesnt take a genius to see
which would be theoretically stronger....I say theoretically because I believe that the
encryption algorithm that they are using may not exactly be what they say...if so, why
has it taken and continues to take so long for the company to even get a REAL
contract?

Some media have picked up on it, but I don't think encryption is a mainstream media issue. Yes, I live, breathe and eat security and encryption articles, but the majority of people out there don't give a rip. Now when the time comes that more and more people try to withdraw some cash from their ABMs and find that their accounts have been stripped, fine, but unfortunately <g>, that's not a widespread occurrence yet.

As far as why the company hasn't got a "real" contract yet, I can only say that Jaws is dealing with some "name" companies right now and that they are getting closer to announcing something concrete. I know that people are frustrated, but the reality is that this is still a very young company and they are dealing with organizations much larger than themselves - with bureaucracies that don't move quite as quickly as we'd like them to.

Take a look at their website...there's no real information about anything and it doesnt
look all that updated...take a stroll over to RSA, Verisign and you'll see the
difference....those companies started out small too but when they felt they had the
best they came out and said it (not only that but een when they were small their sites
were updated)...not yell it from behind the bushes....

Jaws' first website, to put it bluntly, stunk - and I told the company so. However, I don't have a problem with the current website, but that's only my opinion.

but at the same
time they need to make a huge public statement...Wall Street Journal, The NY
Times....THESE are the publications people read

Believe it or not, I'm almost positive they were in the New York Times in August or September.

Now, am I happy that the stock is sitting at 16 cents and that the company hasn't generated the revenues that we had all hoped for by now? Of course not. But remember, first and foremost, I am a major investor in Jaws - I'm not some IR hack who is paid to toe the company line. (No disrespect to legitimate IR people out there.) I constantly express my concerns and make my opinions known. I am not giving this one up without a fight.

Price is at $0.140625. That is as low as I have seen it.

There have been nearly 500,000 software downloads (patches) to software the have encryption capabilities.

hotfiles.lycos.com

It would be great if we could read a press release about JAWZ being bundled with one of the major software packages available.

Even better would be the ability to sell it to the music industry so they could stop people from downloading music off of the internet. That is a big issue lately. However, I don't think JAWZ is capable of doing that.
