RE: Zip 250 "A Total Catastrophe"

>>I suggested they get a lawyer involved.<<

Ahhh.. just like an Iomaniac to try and bury the Truth. But it won't work. There is a little thing here in America called The First Amendment, which is designed to protect responsible citizens just like Mr. Gibson. He posseses a VAST amount of expertise in Zip technology --much more than anyone here, and is a semi-regular guest on ZDNET TV.

Iomega cannot run away from The Click of Death. Indeed, they bury themselves deeper in it the more they try and deny it. And the numbers of people eagerly awaiting Sony HiFD on Usenet speaks volumes about this. Also, the widespread use of Steve Gibson's Zip and Jaz drive diagnostic programs like TIP attest to this severe problem.

I followed the link in #reply-6472698. Found the posting. And then used DejaVu's 'send this posting to a friend' feature to forward it to Tyler Thatcher at Iomega investor relations. I suggested they get a lawyer involved.

Yeah, I found it also. I, too, would think Iomega would be very interested in such claims before the drive is even shipped!!!

You know, it's really odd...I bought my parallel port zip drive in April of 1996, use it every day and have and have had no problems with it whatsoever......during that same period of time I've endured two (2) hard drive crashes from two different hard drive manufacturers. Therefore, I guess all hard drives are junk!
