There is a fairly large user base for VAX/VMS, I think you stated previously approximately 300k. Where do you see the gauge control, Mill setup, tension, speed control models being implemented if VMS becomes extinct? Some of these control loops are super fast and adaptive with direct I/O via dedicated ethernet links.

Do you see critical control applications residing on servers running some form of NT?
