How do you reconcile the above statement with I am getting in 50-55 in the next couple months. With the tax selling coming soon, DELL could go even lower. I will pick more up at 52.5.?

Also, regarding With the tax selling coming soon, DELL could go even lower. , it was my understanding that tax selling is to get rid of losers, (offset gains) but Dell has a significant gain YTD. Besides, tax selling usually concludes in October.

Byron, I doubt that DELL will split before February or March of 1999. Since that is the only way you'll be able to buy it at $45 again, perhaps you might reconsider.

I tend to agree with you. Dell will sell off until some "new" positive developments present themselves.
