if this the typical suit where the stock dropped and class was claiming misleading inf. etc; i'd agree with you. but i'm betting intel wants shiva because they have identified a networking strategy and they would be willing to pay a more equitable price to shva shareholders.

an injunction or some other ruling that could reopen negotiations could actually be a winner here. time is of the essence and intc would rather pay another couple bucks then have their strategy delayed. there is, of course, the risk that they could go someplace else but i don't think so because shva has $3 / share on the books.
