Mike Haase of old DSC is new IR person for Alcatel NA. This is bad as he was less than enthusiastic in putting out releases when head of IR at DSC. We have not heard anything about Litespan for a while, yet that was DSC's hottest product. Yeadon

I am quite glad to see that Skybridge is moving forward. I understand that it is more advanced than I thought. I was told recently that ATM equipment for skybridge was being ordered. If true, it would mean that we are beyond the 'concept level' I imagined. I do not know whether they have actually signed contract with launchers, but that should come soon if they want to keep the 'official' date of coming into force. Possibly, the failure of Globalstar launch, where Loral and Alcatel are involved has slow down the process. I would expect some major announcement for Skybridge after Globalstar next launch, in December or January (if they are successful) Anyone has some infos on the actual Skybridge progress?
