I am guided by the moderately liberal Democratic Senator from New York, Daniel Patrick Moynihan. He states that "Perjury is an impeachable offense."

You see, Dipy has it all wrong. If the hard core dems want to play these games, it will be ultimately bad for dems. It is time to figure out how to handle this law breaking president and come to some constitutional resolution, regardless of the political consequences.

But the beauty of the thing is they can't drop it now! :-)

Even though I find it tedious to follow the details of the matter now, I find it very heartening to see that the issue is still alive!

The Republicans must be hoping that some moderates among them will vote against impeachment, so that they're done with the whole damn thing!

Poor fellas. They look like guys who inadvertently let a few ants on themselves, and now, the ants have gotten into all those hard-to-reach places! :-) It is fun to see the Repubs squirming and squealing.

At least Newt is lucky! His problems were solved the moment they threw him out!

I really wish this impeachment circus goes on FOREVER... and seals the Republicans' fate as far as the year 2000 elections are concerned!

Dipy.
