John, I had not seen it. But the analyst makes a good point, a rarity for analysts. <G> These stocks are running on fumes. It is total nonsense and they are only going up because of easy money looking for a place to run to. My dividend discount model shows neither Novellus nor Amat being able to grow enough over the next 5 years to justify their prices. Also, folks assume that because they are the leaders now, they will be in the future. Yet, they do notice that none of these cos are anywhere in supplying equipment for copper chips or many of the other innovations coming up. They will probably get there, but it is not a sure bet. MB
