In the stock investment arena there are red flags to watch out for and Cortex has three ( that I know of )
1. Death Spiral Covertible Preferred.
2. Reverse Split
3. CFO leaves for parts unknown.

These red flags seem endemic to small-cap or micro-cap bio-tecs and usually happens when management is composed of rocket scientists who would have a hard job adding up a four=person dinner check. The company is not now in a position to turn down any low-ball bid that comes along versus playing one interested company off another.
I have resigned myself to stay to the bitter end, hoping that this is a lesson learned..not to be repeated. We coulda been a contender, another EntreMed perhaps. Short of a parting-of-the seas type miracle, a dollar will seem a rich reward...still learning...nysebob2
