I agree about Merrill and all others. But I've seen Al
Goldman from A.G.Edwards say repeatedly on cnbc during
the last correction that this was a buying opportunity.
He recommended buying banks and techs(i think). Actually
I used to look forward to seeing him there amid all
the doom and gloom scenarios others were predicting. Just
thought I should mention him here.

So why do you use Merrill then? and Schwab are certainly into online brokerage though they charge more than the really cheap guys.
