Thanks for the rundown on why a sugardaddy would be good for Loral.

I've been looking into terrestrial wireless net access, and I'm surprised at how fast its growing. (For instance, in Reno Nevada you can get 750k/100k asymetrical wireless net access for $34 a month.) This is shocking. It doesn't surprise me that it is availible relatively widely in Alaska, but somewhere like Reno? So, I think skybridge should get up there quick. Not that I think the market will be saturated quickly, but if we want a consumer level home run, better to be out their first. Though, the same people who went for DirectTV in a big way will go for Skybridge over the (still urban centered) wireless competitors, I expect.

Also saw a print article that described Loral as "Loral, which has wanted to get into direct broadcast TV for awhile is considering making a bid" on the SkyB slot. We'll see if there's any substance to that.

I'm on the road again... see y'all.
