has there ever been a period in time when small caps outperformed large caps over a significant period of time?

steve--

i'll go you one better. the fundamentals on small caps have been great for over a year now, especially when you compare them to the asian problems most of the big caps have.

i think the real problem is not so much a lack of confidence, its all about laziness. when you are managing 1 billion in a fund it is much easier to sink money into IBM then it is PPOD. so, they buy IBM.

when that kind of thing changes, then we will see the market move higher. until then, nada.

good luck to all,
trey
