In another Year NT 5 will just have become available if even - I would hold back on the hyperbole a bit - since after all it will only be a 32 bit operating system so even at the most surface level it would come up short - i would also toss in that extra year to get the bugs out of the new 20 million lines of code there throwing in. Will it be an improvement on NT 4? hey if they fixed the leaking kernel so you wouldnt have to reboot it daily and half the BSOD's it will be a big improvement - a Novell Killer maybe - Solaris Killer? - we'll keep waiting.
