OT: Controllers

Why does every joystick have to be a flight joystick? I would like one that I could manuvour with just my thumb and forefinger. Epyx made one back in the mid 80's that you held in your left hand, had finger-buttons for your left hand, and your right hand controlled the joystick. I could get great control with it, until it broke. Sure, it wouldn't be as useful today since every game wants you to use the keyboard, but for arcade-like games it was better than gamepads. (My hand cramps up when using most gamepads.)

OT -- Chip thanks for the pictures. I looked at them all. I noticed there was one where supposedly you could "scan" a 3D object into the computer. What is that and how well did it work? Personally I'd be an order of magnitude more impressed if someone builds the reverse; a device that can create a real world "mold" for a 3D object inside the computer. Also what was with the wearable computers? And last, but certainly not least, what did *you* see that really interested you?

Thanks
