<<Tis the season to be jolly - I find it hard to imagine how THQ got Revenge, Rugrats, Bugs Life - one of the first color Gameboy titles, and WCW Nitro for the PC, all in the same quarter. BF is really going to have to work to get this type of lineup again.>>

With all these hits, the huge installed base of next gen platforms, and the big short interest, I agree with your seasonal comments. However, it doesn't look that hard to get this kind of lineup again. Next Christmas I expect WWF games for Nintendo and PC, Rugrats II, Danger Girl, and a load of other games. And isn't Toy Story II due next year? Thus, look for Toy Story II gameboy too. So one had better get used to THQ having this kind of lineup.

In Q1 2000 I'd think we'll see WWF PSX, and WWF Dreamcast. I think THQ might start getting some efficiencies in development costs too. That is, Dreamcast titles are supposed to be easily portable from PC, so development of WWF PC and Dreamcast is probably more like developing just 1.5 titles. And I'd think that PSX II, when it happens, will be able to use some code from PSX I. I could be wrong on that one though.

<<We really gonna see Rugrats on Monday?>>

Wade, all the major retailers are listing it as the 23rd. If the game was going to slip we'd know about it by now since these sites are updated daily and the game is likely in the cental warehouses already.
Btw, the Rugrats gameboy release is due on Tuesday.
