Forbes magazine does not lie Dan Dan, look at the following article on the Forbes web page: forbes.com Notice that Archipelago, also known as Terra Nova charges fees up to 3 cents per share just to floor traders! I do not know about you, but I still work right across the street from Terra Nova and Townsend at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. A lot of the information I learned from Borsellino was when he got cut out of the Archipelago ECN, and other information I have learned from current and past employees of Terra Nova. As far as the rates, I am talking about why your ticket charge is as high as it is. The rate that Terra Nova charges MB Trading to do business should be a lot less when the Island is used, and then MB could pass this lower rate on to their customers. In my opinion, $22.95 is extremely high for MB's tier 1 if the Island is used, because Terra Nova gets money from the Island if it is a trade that adds liquidity!! I am surprised you cannot figure that out. As far as my credibility, I have been quoted in the New York Times once this fall, USA Today four times this fall, and the Chicago Tribune nine times this year. Go to the web page archives of the various papers and look up my name, Fane Lozman, and then see if I am not a recognized voice on market action. You have a lot of nerve questioning my credibility. That same nerve of yours would probably give me an apology once you read the Borsellino lawsuit with its attachments.
