There are unfortunately many "huge events" that could in fact happen.

For one, I believe Wall Street and Main Street are not reading the impeachment inquiry right. Everybody has decided that no impeachment/ a censure was a foregone conclusion because of election results and the polls.

Starr is controversial, but yesterday's hearings show that, wether you agree with him or not, he has the law on his side, and can shield himself from being removed . His case is rock solid, and Democrats and Republicans will have to reach a conclusion that Clinton did in fact commit perjury and obstructed justice. From there, I just cannot see how Congress will be able to find a way out without impeachment or resignation by Clinton. (Kendall knows that, and that's why not one of his questions adressed the Starr report.)
