Using ARCA sitting at the high bid or ask..usually buying 2000 shares of a Nasdaq small and mid-cap trading 500,000 to 2 million per day..frequently while watching T/S ...If my offer is...say 18 1/4 and all other MM's are below I see thousands of shares go by at 18 1/4 and sometimes less l than 18 1/4 before I get hit.

Sometimes I am at the bid or ask but others are there also...they display the amount they are willing to trade and I watch this ,too. Still, others remain with their original number of shares offered either at bid or ask and trades go by.

Maybe something I don't understand...might be normal..but when you want in or out it can really get you pissed.
