Santiago; Please consider who established many of the rituals that most Christians observe and follow today. Do some research on Pope/Emperor Constantine and the Catholic line of the Innocents and you may come away with a deeper understanding of our history. I am not interested in the history of Christianity....... Nor an I interested in many other religions Baptist, Mormon, Lutheran ect..... For myself I am an outcast no matter which way I turn. I am a Jew that believes in Yeshua so many Jews reject me as being a Jew.... If I go to a Christian Church and I mention that I am a Jew and have accepted Jesus many of them frown on my devotion to my Jewish roots (holidays ect......) I do not go to Church......... Sometimes I will attend a Messianic Congregation but when the preacher speaks I tune out so I get nothing from it but I do feel it is important for me to attend so I set some sort of example for my children.......... The only reason I came on this ridiculous thread was because of Emile calling Jews Satan worshippers and you know the rest. No I am not interested in learning anything on this thread....... I am comfortable with asking for guidance through prayer and a personal relationship with GOD........... Alan

Thank you Santiago for words of wisdom. I have experienced my truth in the same manner. I was one of the staunchest of Christan belief until I had children and like you experienced the hard way that the bible verses accepted things that were contrary to experience. When those experiences happened there was no question as to whether my judgment or the preachers was best for my childrens benefit. I clung to what I did believe about God but it was mostly contrary to what the bible said. Lifes experiences have proven to me I was wise in this regard. My conscience and gut feelings have proved better guides than the bible verses and sermons. I have found that most Christians have not made an in depth study of the bible or how it really came into existence.
