I have never bought or shorted AMZN. But I believe that AMZN may run up an additional 20% to 30% more on hype in the coming months, especially after the split of the stock. This assumes that there will be no major crashes in the DOW...
But after this other run-up, I believe the stock will crash and burn for a year or so.
Afterall, AMZN is only a reseller, like a department store-----it's not like they have discovered a cure for cancer or something...

is like in a tough deal making or negotiation; "one who talks first lost". Hang-on and wait, a year from now we will see. None, zero number of stocks in the stock market history can substain more than a few qtrs with more than a PE of 500 (and even that is for future earnings)

<< Over abundance of negativity on the thread this weekend...gives AMZN more upside, as impossible as that may seem!>>

I had the impresssion, except for a few posters, that AMZN is expected to rise about 10 pt or so tomorrow..

As many as there are still short.

I doubt if there is much buying coming from people who want to
own the stock for investment. More than likely only from
people who wondered who would ever pay $180 per share. THEY
found out! It was the shorts.....
