Uh? Backup? A lintel can be made of wood. I believe you are referring to a column and lintel that is used for an outside wall opening.

Pez is building a post and beam which supports the floors and roof. If he does it right he will use mortise and tenon joints. Same idea as a pole barn except a pole barn uses posts and trusses.

A Beam ,beam,beam made of wood supported by posts on both ends.Thus post and beam construction.Stonehenge..... Everybody knows that was built by aliens from space ...Doesn't count.<<I go south in the summer to escape the heat >> I guess that makes sense down there but sure sounds weird to me.
