jhg in kc - don't mean to be contentious but I have to gently disagree. Should this come about, you will be correct on both counts initially but after the slight knee-jerk dip, AOL will in my estimation begin to soar. I think what a lot of people are missing about AOL is that in my opinion it has finally been CONFIRMED by the Wall Street Casinos. That sounds simplistic but it is a far greater dynamic than people realize. AOL is the only high multiple internet stock (others-AMZN, YHOO, INKT, EBAY, MSPG, etc. etc.)that has received this endowment. In other words until a stock is confirmed by the Houses or Casinos of Wall Street it is not investment fashionable to tout it. The Greybeards or structured Bell Curve analyst are not going to go on any investment program etc. and in their minds look like a fool. It is extremely difficult for a stock of this type to advance to that level. Even as great as Dell is, there are still a lot of analyst that are not going to confirm it. But when people speak of the internet, they can speak of AOL without repudiation. This is what is really beginning to grab me. If AOL should drop precipitously, I would jump in with SIZE TWELVES!
