I was hoping some delicate feeling creature on this thread would have an opinion re:big eyed orifice probing aliens.

I have made some lovely soy protein discoveries. One is Boca Burger- absolutely yummy. Kids seem to be convinced they are actually eating incinerated animal flesh- what could be more perfect than that? We have had the soy milk- is good. I think I told you about Morningstar farms soy chicken nuggets- but if I did not, they fool even my finnicky Kentucky Fried Chicken loving minions. Have also found a wonderful veggie cookbook- Still Life with Menu- by the Moosewood cafe gal. Very good book- can actually eat recipes and some of them are tasty. Especially like easy "Pasta with Feta and greens"

2-4 tbs olive oil(I use Consorzio Roasted Garlic oil- Costco)heat in pan saute 4 cups onions till translucent

add 4 cups (or as much as you like) torn up (bite size) spinach, endive- whatever green you like- mix over medium heat till wilted

Take off heat crumble in 1-2 cups feta (I use herbed feta from Costco)

Mix with 1 lb cooked linguine, spaghetti- whatever (I actually fix the spinach/feta mix without the pasta sometimes - since my kids like it)

Christine,
We were at taco bell today and we grilled the guy taking our order about the sanitary conditions in Taco Bells. My wife had heard a horror story and wanted to ask about it. One thing he told us was that the meat they use is actually 90% soy, 10% beef. That's a shock.
