Yes that is what I am saying. I think many folks are unaware what it takes to make a chip profitably which INTC is the master of. AMD's foundries just can't achieve the efficiencies that INTC's do and therefore their only recourse will be to run to the government.

Well Rambus is indeed the obvious beneficiary but since that is probably presently discounted out to 2001 what other sub sets might be seen as not as obvious at the present time. Would it be be mother board manufacturers or licensees of Rambus? That was what was at the heart of my question.
