The question I have for you is this: Where would you be financially if you had steadily invested in IBM from the 60's to date???

Well of course then I'd be doing fine. I'll guess we'll have to check your investment in EBAY in 2030 or so and see how you did! :-)

I have no stake in EBAY nor an opinion on it's prospects, I just wanted to respond to your comment about IBM having "ever increasing" share price, which was completely false.

So that I can remain on topic, let me ask a few questions of EBAY investors:

1) Is anyone concerned about the total likelihood of extremely "hot" merchandise being sold over EBAY, and if EBAY has any liability regarding that?

2) What is EBAY doing to gain new buyers and sellers?
