Hi Ken, I haven't heard a word, but Wall St. is all aglow with merger mania after the NetScape, etc. merger discussions were going around over the weekend.

Doubt it. Management at IDTI and CY hate each other, unless its a hostile takeover type of aquisition. There is NO WAY that IDTI would agree to be purchased by CY, especially at the current price.

or the other way around with IDT acquiring CY. Both to me seem equally likely or unlikely. A kind of patt situation of egos preventing a logical move towards concentration in our merger-mania time. Who would run the ship? Len made the mistake of investing big in a new fab, while a total lack of funds to match the arch-rival's move later made TJ look like a hero.
